The Town of Parma’s Finance Department is responsible for providing accurate information pertaining to all financial aspects of the Town in a timely manner. The Department maintains all financial records and provides support and services to other Town departments and outside agencies in accordance with Federal and New York State guidelines to insure all requirements are met following generally accepted accounting principles. The Finance Department’s responsibilities are as follows:

  • All Payroll related Functions
  • Accounts Payable
  • Budget
  • Manage the Town’s Computer Infrastructure
  • Management of General Ledger and Fixed Assets
  • Management of Towns Financial reporting
  • Management of Towns Risk Control Programs
  • Check Reconciliation and Management of Town Accounts
  • Management of all Personnel Files and HR relations

The Department manages day to day financial affairs and advises and assists the Supervisor and Town Board in varied policy matters that may have a financial impact on the town. The Town’s Finance Department is committed and dedicated to serving the community.
