Where do you get a dog license?
Dog licenses are obtained from the Town Clerk in the municipality where you reside. They can be obtained in person or by regular mail. We hope to have an online option available in the future. Click here for more details

Is there a Senior Discount for the purchase of a dog license?
Yes. If your dog has been spayed or neutered the fee is $3.50. If the dog have not been altered the fee is $11.50. This is a reduction of $5.50. Please request the discount and provide your driver’s license. Once you are in the dog licensing system as a Senior you will not need to bring proof of your age each time you renew the dog’s license.

Can someone else pick up an Accessibility Permit (Handicap Permit) for me?
Yes. If you are unable to come in yourself, a family member or friend can do it for you. They must bring the medical paperwork from the doctor, filled out, dated and signed by you (the applicant); and have your driver’s license or a NYS non-driver ID.

The Previous Owner received the Bill And Has Moved, the Bill Belongs to the New Owner. What Should I Do?
