A Public Library and Community Center Survey was available from March 26th through April 2nd.
The survey is an applied research project to fulfill a student's undergraduate degree program requirement in Organizational Management. The purpose of this survey is to find out if the Community has a preference between building a new library and a new community center as separate structures or building an expanded library structure that combines the functions of both the library and the community center.

Town of Parma Bicentennial Logo Contest
Have an artistic flare? Have a picture that comes to mind when you think of historical Parma? Want to show your community pride? Well the Town of Parma is celebrating its Bicentennial – Happy 200th Birthday Town of Parma!! Town Historian Tom Burger has formed a committee of local residents to plan events for a yearlong Bicentennial Celebration. The committee has chosen Parma – 200 Years of Fruitful Living as its slogan and is looking for residents of the Town to submit entries for a logo. The contest winner will receive commemorative souvenirs and recognition during many bicentennial events.

The Department of Motor Vehicle Mobile Unit will be at the Parma Town Hall Monday, February 4, 2008 from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm and every Monday thereafter, except when a holiday falls on a Monday.

Safe Routes to School program from the New York State Dept. of Transportation

Hilton-Parma Historic Barn Project
"Barns are sometimes overlooked" said Joe Lee, co-chair of the Hilton-Parma Historic Barn Project, "and for that reason, we thought it was important not only for the historical record to photograph them, but also to let our town know just how beautiful they are!" The Project has been sponsored by the Village of Hilton, the Town of Parma and the Hilton Apple Fest in an effort to recognize and bring attention to the more than 190 historic barns in the area.

Town of Parma Acquires VFW Hall
The Town of Parma has taken over the ownership of the VFW property. This will give the Town an enclosed building for the public to use year-round. The bookings of this facility are done through the Town Clerk’s Office.
